San Diego, CA – A High Wind Watch has been issued for Southern California, with powerful northeast winds expected to sweep across the region starting Tuesday evening. Gusts could reach 75 mph, posing significant risks to residents and travelers in affected areas.

According to the National Weather Service, the advisory will impact San Diego County valleys and mountains, Riverside County mountains, and the Inland Empire. Winds are expected to peak from Tuesday night through Wednesday night, particularly near foothills and mountain slopes. The strongest gusts, up to 75 mph, are forecast for coastal slopes in San Bernardino County and near the Cajon Pass.
