Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department conducted a series of operations between Jan. 5 and Jan. 11, targeting gang activity and illegal firearm possession in Phelan, Muscoy and Bloomington.
During the week-long operation, law enforcement officials served four search warrants, resulting in the seizure of five firearms, including one ghost gun, and the confiscation of suspected methamphetamine. Three felony arrests were made as part of the operation.
The Sheriff’s Department’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, along with patrol deputies, carried out the investigations, focusing on individuals with gang affiliations and those prohibited from possessing firearms.
