Utah to get big hit of snow as storm moves in from California

SALT LAKE CITY — Today you could probably get away with a light jacket as temperatures reach the upper 50s to nearly 60. Tomorrow’s going to remain pretty balmy for the weekend before Thanksgiving, with temperatures in the upper 50s.

KSL Meteorologist Kristen Van Dyke said this is in fact the warm before the storm with the atmospheric river that’s been dumping rain on California coming in tomorrow evening.

“Snow will start to develop Saturday night and will linger on and off through Sunday. And we could even see a few more snow showers [on] Monday,” she said. “For the Valleys, we’re going to see more of a rain-snow mix. We could potentially [be] waking up to a dusting of snow early Sunday morning before it starts to mix back with some rain and moves out Sunday afternoon…
