A Southwest Miami-Dade family is grappling with the disappearance of their French bulldog, Lola, who they say was stolen from their property. In what amounted to mere moments of inattention, the dog’s owner, Jennifer Perez, has been left heartbroken, describing Lola as “super friendly, she’s a snuggle bunny, she’s just an all-around great dog,” in a statement obtained by 7News.
The distressing event occurred after Perez’s husband momentarily stepped away to take out the trash, during which time he noticed a black sedan behaving suspiciously, it was parked at the front of their home, on Southwest 120th Avenue and 240th Street, but as he approached to investigate it quickly sped off – the family soon realized that Lola was gone.
