Statesville plays the role of underdog in Friday night’s regular-season finale. The Greyhounds hit the road looking to knock off Hickory and earn a share of the Western Foothills Athletic Conference championship.

The Red Tornadoes (9-0, 6-0) have won 25 consecutive games over two seasons. The defending 3A state champs locked up a share of the league title last week.
