In response to the need for disaster assistance in the wake of Hurricane Helene, the Carolina Classic Fair is partnering with local organizations and businesses to collect food and school supplies donations during special days at the fair.
Opening Weekend, Oct. 4, 5 and 6: A truck will be located at the main gate to collect much-needed items for storm relief efforts in the North Carolina mountains. Items will be collected from gate opening time until 8 p.m. each of the three days.
The Carolina Classic Fair is partnering with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department for the collection initiative. The Sheriff’s Department will monitor collections and handle delivery of the items to areas in need. Donations will not result in free admission to the fair.…
