GREENSBORO, N.C. — The City of Greensboro started enforcing new leaf collection rules on November 1, according to city officials.
Now, residents whose leaves are left in the street will receive a “door hanger” from city staff with a warning letting them know they have 14 days to remove the leaves. If the leaves aren’t removed after 14 days, the resident will be fined $75.
If another 14 days have gone by and the resident hasn’t cleaned up the leaves and paid the $75 fine, they will be fined $500 in addition to the cost of cleanup…
