LEXINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — The City of Lexington has crews positioned throughout the city that are ready to respond to the winter storm.
Earlier on Friday, city crews finished doing preventative measures like putting salt down and brining major roads in the city. The city’s electric crew was also preparing in case the storm brings large outages.
Lexington Assistant City Manager Nick Geis said they have a crew on standby and are ready to do a 24-hour schedule if necessary. The city’s street crews have been out observing locations, making notes of any problem areas…
