San Bernardino County’s Homeless Outreach Proactive Enforcement (H.O.P.E.) Team conducted a successful outreach operation on Jan. 3, 2025, in unincorporated Fontana and surrounding communities. The team helped individuals experiencing homelessness by connecting them with essential services.
The event, called “Operation Shelter Me,” ran from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and aimed to provide medical care, mental health treatment and housing referrals to unhoused individuals, particularly focusing on those with significant mental health challenges.
