Soccer Recap: Redlands Takes a Loss

Redlands was the 5-3 winner over La Quinta when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Redlands Terriers fell 3-1 to the La Quinta Blackhawks on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Terriers can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ California soccer rankings (they are ranked 929th, while the Blackhawks are ranked 380th).

Redlands’ goal came courtesy of Juan Vallejo, who’s now up to two this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Redlands and nudges their season record down to 1-9-1. As for La Quinta, they have been performing well recently as they’ve won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3-1 record this season…
