Caution urged as trees continue to fall following Hurricane Helene

Even one week after Hurricane Helene swept through the Lowcountry, there is still a need for drivers to remain cautious due to the possibility of additional falling trees and limbs, Bluffton officials said Thursday.

A large tree toppled Thursday, Oct. 3 during the morning hours in Bluffton, blocking the intersection of Calhoun and Allen Streets in Old Town, Bluffton Township Fire District Public Information Officer Stephen Combs said.
