SAVANNAH, Ga. — Just hours after being declared the projected winner of the Chatham County Sheriff’s race, Sheriff-Elect Richard Coleman in the WJCL 22 News studio to talk about his win over incumbent Chatham County Sheriff John Wilcher.
Coleman, the Democratic candidate, brings 32 years of law enforcement experience to the position. His campaign focused on fighting crime, enhancing jail conditions, and improving staffing at the sheriff’s office.
