POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist football team fell to Valparaiso, 17-14, in a Pioneer Football League contest at Tenney Stadium on Saturday. After Valparaiso scored on its opening drive, Marist answered on its opening with a one-yard touchdown run by Tristan Shannon. The score was 7-7 after 15 minutes. Marist took a 14-7 lead on an eight-yard touchdown pass from Sonny Mannino to Will Downes.
