Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Cat food company Northwest Naturals has issued a recall of certain two-pound packages of “Feline Turkey Recipe Raw Frozen” pet food. Sold in several states, it has tested positive for the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza virus. According to the New Mexico Department of Agriculture several retail locations throughout the state carry Northwest Naturals products. Officials said a domestic cat in Washington County, Oregon died after consuming the raw frozen pet food.
