Outreach teams are working round the clock to ensure the homeless are safe in this cold snap. Ron Book with Miami-Dade’s Homeless Trust says they have placed over one hundred people in emergency shelters during the past two days. He says the goal is to retain them and get them off the streets for good. The cold snap continues through Thursday where we will wake up to temperatures in the mid to upper 40’s, the coldest air since January of 2023…
