Two passengers killed in three-vehicle crash in Pompano Beach

POMPANO BEACH, Florida — Two passengers lost their lives in a three-vehicle collision early New Year’s Day, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. The crash occurred shortly before 1 a.m. at the intersection of Southeast Fifth Court and South Federal Highway.Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting the incident, which involved a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette, a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, and a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder. Investigators revealed that the Corvette, traveling southbound, collided with the Santa Fe as it attempted a left turn. The impact ejected a passenger from the Santa Fe, which then struck the stationary Pathfinder.
