A car that police say was being used as a getaway vehicle after a shoplifting incident at a Delray Beach Publix store crashed into a police cruiser Tuesday, with one suspect having fled the scene after.
Police were called to the Publix at 4771 W. Atlantic Avenue, the department said in a statement. The store is located near the intersection with Military Trail in what is known as the “Delray Plaza” shopping center.
