The Miami Hurricanes football team had plenty to clean up on both sides of the ball during the recent bye week before these final two games of the regular season.

Prior to the bye week, Miami had its worst performance of the 2024 season on each side of the ball in a 28-23 loss at Georgia Tech.

On defense, the Hurricanes couldn’t get off the field against a limited Yellow Jackets attack—particularly in situational football. UM allowed Georgia Tech to convert 9-of-14 third down opportunities and the Yellow Jackets scored a touchdown on 4-of-5 red-zone trips (and it would have been a perfect 5-of-5 if Georgia Tech didn’t kneel out the victory inside the five yard line at the end of the game)…
