HONOLULU (Island News) — The clock is ticking for locked out nurses at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children who will soon lose their medical benefits at the end of the month.
“Invested their life and their family’s life and then all of a sudden they’re going to tell you you have to pay for your own medical cause you’re not going to get coverage now,” said Sen. Kurt Fevella, who joined a rally with the Hawaii Nurses Association at the Hawaii State Capitol. “I mean who does that?”
