NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – We turn the page to a new season tomorrow morning. It’ll officially be fall but the weather will still have a summer-like feel.
Above-average temperatures will take us into Sunday and Monday as highs return to around 90. The humidity won’t be as high as it was in the thick of summer but it’ll certainly hang on enough to make the heat index values rise to the upper 90s.
A ridge of high pressure dominates over the next several days, keeping us mostly sunny, dry, and hot. It’s not until the middle of the week that we’ll see our rain chances ramp back up and highs returning to the 80s…
