2026 Maryland CB Sean Johnson is the first offer made by James Adams at Michigan State

Newly hired safeties coach James Adams got out on the road recruiting yesterday for the first time as a Michigan State coach and ended up at Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn (MD, a school he knows well from his ties to the region.

He was there specifically to go see Sean Johnson, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound cornerback in the 2026 recruiting class. Adams and Johnson have had a good relationship for over a year, Adams offered Johnson in January of last year while at Wake Forest, and yesterday Johnson became the first prospect Adams offered as the safeties coach at Michigan State…
