HOWELL — A man was found dead from a gunshot wound inside a downtown Howell business on Friday, June 28.
Officers from the Howell Police Department responded to the 100 block of W. Grand River Ave. just before 5:30 p.m. Friday after receiving a threats complaint. Upon arrival, they found the victim, who was not immediately identified.
Police detained one subject at the scene, which was secured for investigation. HPD emphasizes the incident did not occur near Balloonfest and was in no way connected to the event. They added it was an isolated incident and there is no current threat to the public…
