Michigan Defensive Star Optimistic Following ACL Injury

As the Michigan Wolverines enter the 2024 college football season as the defending national champions, the program received some optimistic news regarding the possibility safety Rod Moore could play this season following an offseason ACL injury.

Moore, who enters his senior season with the Wolverines, tore his ACL during spring practice shortly after announcing his return to Michigan for the 2024 campaign. Moore has been a staple of the Wolverines’ defense the past two seasons, accruing 141 tackles and six interceptions in that span — most notably the game-sealing interception against Ohio State last fall.
