New business in Brighton has a series of ‘storefronts’ for littles

BRIGHTON — Two sisters-in-law have created an indoor playscape with kid-sized “storefronts” at their new children’s clothing and gifts boutique in Brighton.

Salt and Light Kids Co. owners Katie Meyers and Hannah Miglia say they designed the playscape to be safe and clean, where children can explore and use their imagination. Parents can book two-hour timeslots. The space can accommodate up to 15 children at a time.

The area has a vet clinic for stuffed animals, a grocery store and diner with toy foods, a mechanic’s shop, a salon, a pediatrics office for baby dolls, and a fire and police station complete with a jail. The “shops” are placed around a wooden tree sculpture with artificial grass…
