STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted for questioning in connection to the shooting death of a Staten Island man in the Bronx last week.

The individual sought is described as a male with a dark complexion and a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black Crocs, police said.

The 36-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to his head by police who responded on Thursday, Dec. 5 at about 3:34 p.m. to a 911 call of an assault in the 600 block of E. 223rd Street near White Plains Road, according to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information…
