An immersive haunt in Athens is glowing…and it might have something to do with the radiation

ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) — From the actors to the costumes and decor, Doomsday Haunted Attraction will make visitors feel as if they’ve taken a step back in time and been planted in a town out of their worst nightmares.

The story goes that this town is war-torn and was quarantined after a massive explosion of the nuclear variety. Almost immediately after stepping foot on the outdoor trail, tourists see human-animal hybrids ready to tell their cautionary tales, and these actors commit to the bit! We were locked in for the entirety of our 45-minute tour at Doomsday .

Let’s call this one…Ben’s Revenge!

We’re told the attraction has added 50% more frights through their new additions (you’ll have to visit to see those!)

Before the cast is ready to terrorize its first round of victims, they enter the set on a World War II-era truck for the Doomsday March, complete with a flamethrower and fireworks. Then, the adventure begins…
