HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The active hurricane season is straining local resources. Some groups say they are still focused on the recovery in North Carolina and are waiting to see what happens in Florida.

Multiple nonprofits say their number one focus right now is aiding in Helene’s relief before moving to the next storm.
