Rising home prices has led some homebuyers to a cheaper style of housing: build-to-rent homes.
In Montgomery County—where the median home price is $340,000, according to the Houston Association of Realtors—there are over 1,000 build-to-rent units, and 500 units being built, according to data from HAR and developers.
