WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – METEOROLOGIST ADRIAN CAMPA SAYS IT IS NOT A WHITE CHRISTMAS, BUT IT IS A GRAY ONE. WE SAW WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG THIS MORNING AND WE WILL SEE IT REDEVELOP TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING. VISIBILITY WILL LIKELY BE LESS THAN 1/4 OF A MILE FOR MUCH OF THE STATE AT TIMES.
THE FIRST OF TWO LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS WILL ARRIVE THURSDAY, BRINGING LIGHT, SPOTTY SHOWERS TO KANSAS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. THE SECOND SYSTEM WILL SWING THROUGH FRIDAY, BRINGING ANOTHER CHANCE FOR SCATTERED SHOWERS IN THE MORNING AND AFTERNOON. FOG WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE STATE AGAIN ON THURSDAY MORNING.
HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND, ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE UNDER SUNNIER SKIES. NEXT WEEK, OUR WEATHER PATTERN WILL UNDERGO SOME CHANGES, WITH THE ARRIVAL OF A COLD FRONT AND POTENTIAL SYSTEM EARLY NEXT WEEK…
