The La Quinta High basketball teams are having a warm January.
On Friday, the Aztecs’ boys team defeated Magnolia 61-32 for their fourth straight win, and improved their Orange League record to 3-0. The victory squared their season mark to 11-11.
Meanwhile, the girls’ team is atop the Garden Grove League with a 2-0 mark – tied with Los Amigos (3-0) – and 17-4 overall. Those teams will meet on Friday, Jan. 17 in the LQHS gym in what could be a battle for the league title…
