Man arrested after bank robbery in Columbia, deputies say

COLUMBIA, S.C. — An arrest has been made after a bank robbery in Columbia last week.

Richland County Sheriff Sheriff Leon Lott on Tuesday announced the arrest of 39-year-old Willie Lee Moses II on October 21, 2024.

On October 15, 2024, at approximately 10 am, deputies responded to First Citizens Bank at 7039 Parklane Rd. in reference to an armed robbery. Deputies were advised that a man, later identified as Moses, walked into the bank and presented a handwritten note to the teller stating an armed robbery and demanded money.
