Oklahoma Fires Coach After Lackluster Performance vs. South Carolina

It’s safe to say the Oklahoma Sooners’ debut season in the SEC hasn’t gone according to plan.

After a 3-0 start, Oklahoma has lost three of its last four, including a 25-15 loss to No. 7 Tennessee three weeks ago, plus back-to-back losses to No. 5 Texas and South Carolina the last two weeks.

Saturday’s 35-9 loss to the Game Cocks — a game in which OU had just 291 yards of total offense and four turnovers — really put things into perspective, however, and the Sooners decided change was needed, shaking up the coaching staff by firing offensive coordinator Seth Littrell…
