On Thursday, October 31, the Metro Board of Directors unanimously approved a $798 million funding agreement to construct the final portion of the Metro A Line (formerly Gold Line) light-rail to Montclair.
Phase 2B1 of the Metro A Line (formerly Gold Line), which will extend the line to Pomona, is currently under construction and will be open to the public in 2025. The final portion of the project (Phase 2B2) will ultimately extend from Pomona to Montclair in San Bernardino County, including a station in Claremont.
