The weather in North Texas has been very quiet for early October, which is normally the second wettest month of the year. So far, there hasn’t been a single drop of rain this month and nothing in the forecast shows precipitation for at least the next week.
A strong ridge of high pressure will continue to dominate the weather until a decent cold front comes through late Sunday.
In the meantime, pleasant mornings and warm afternoons will continue through Sunday. Afternoon highs Tuesday will be the coolest until next week with readings topping out in the middle 80s. Temperatures dip back into the 60s overnight, and mid-80s again Wednesday.
