NY weather: Snow squall warning issued for New York Tuesday evening

On Tuesday at 6:52 p.m. a snow squall warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 7:30 p.m. for Broome, Delaware, Tioga and Tompkins counties.

“At 6:50 p.m., a dangerous snow squall was affecting areas from southern Tompkins County through Broome County to extreme northeast Pennsylvania,” adds the weather service. “Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes.”

Locations impacted by the warning include Binghamton, Vestal, Johnson City, Endicott, Kirkwood, Conklin, Maine, Newfield, Owego and Jackson…
