ADAMS TOWNSHIP — A group of elementary school students at an Adams Township School District Halloween event were photographed wearing black outfits and carrying Trump flags and prop guns. In response to public outcry, superintendent Tim Keteri issued a statement:
“We want to address a concerning incident that has come to our attention. Recently, a photo circulating on social media depicting students from South Range Elementary School with toy guns as part of their Halloween costumes. We recognize that this portrayal was inappropriate and did not align with our board policies.
“As a district, we understand the negative impacts this may have on our community and alumni. Please be assured that we take this matter seriously. We are committed to learning from this experience and making more thoughtful decisions that truly reflect the values of our district…
