JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -Good morning, everyone. We’ll remain cool today, but tomorrow, wintry precipitation is expected to move into parts of central Mississippi.
Due to tomorrow’s potential wintry mix, we’ve declared another First Alert Weather Day. This won’t be an all-day event, as most of the day will remain dry. However, during the evening commute, we’ll see precipitation develop to our west.
While it’s still too early to determine whether we’ll experience snow or rain, areas north of I-20 are more likely to see a wintry mix, whereas areas south of I-20 are less likely. We’ll continue to closely monitor the situation. Temperatures are expected to stay above freezing, so any wintry mix should not accumulate or stick to the ground, though snow flurries are still possible…
