UPDATE —- The fires in East Feliciana Parish are now under control as of 7:30 p.m., per Sheriff Jeff Travis.
“Fire is under control and contained to the west side of the highway between Rist Rd and Kent Rd. Fire suppression efforts are still taking place,” said Sheriff Travis.
Louisiana’s Department of Agriculture & Forestry has an investigator who remains on scene to determine the cause of the fires…
