The Leake Academy varsity basketball teams traveled to Pearl to play Park Place Christian Academy and both boys and girls came away with wins. The number one MAIS Leake Academy Lady Rebels remain undefeated 24-0 overall and 5-0 in the district winning their game over the Lady Crusaders by 35 points, 59-24. The Rebels and Crusaders played a much closer game but the Rebels had a lead at the end of each quarter, up by 4 points at halftime and winning the game by 10 points, 54-44 to improve their season record to 13-7 overall and 3-2 in the district.
