Early voting began on Oct. 16 and it ended on Thursday with 28,454 Jacksonians and Madison County residents casting their votes in the state and federal general elections.
Of the county’s 64,574 registered voters, according to the Madison County Election Commission, approximately 44% of votes in the 2024 races came from early voting, with 1,107 from mail-in ballots.
