Students of the Month at Chautauqua Lake Central School were honored for November achievements. The student recognition program honors students in grades seven through 12 whose classroom performance, attitude toward learning, work ethic, and extra-curricular activities set them apart.
— Seventh grader Itzayana Quintero is a motivated and spunky student who approaches her work with grit, care, and precision. She actively participates in class, is always prepared, and brings an infectious enthusiasm for learning. Her positive attitude and strong work ethic shine as she consistently shows initiative and stays focused on her goals. Itzy is on top of her work, advocating for herself, asking insightful questions, and embracing the process of making corrections to achieve excellence.
— Eighth-grader Zoey Kling is an exemplary student who actively participates in class, always comes prepared, and maintains a positive attitude. Her strong work ethic and initiative make her a consistent leader among her peers. Zoey fosters a strong learning environment by providing constructive criticism and encouraging others. She balances her academics and athletics with dedication, excelling in both areas. Zoey had an outstanding season on the modified football team and is looking forward to continuing her success in modified wrestling. Her favorite class is Social Studies because she enjoys learning about the history of our country. Inspired by Mrs. Roush, whom she feels comfortable talking to, Zoey sets ambitious goals for herself, including maintaining high grades and winning more than half of her wrestling duals this year…
