The Kennie L. Campbell Scholarship Fund will be awarded in 2025 through the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation’s monthly Workforce Development Scholarship process.
“Thanks to a growing number of donors, we have a dedicated pool of funds to support shorter term job training and certification programs,” said Michelle Tambascio, the foundation’s scholarship officer.
Kennie Campbell never sought the spotlight. Suzanne, his wife of 45 years put it best, “he didn’t toot his own horn.” According to those who knew him well, Campbell was humble, thoughtful, and kind. He could often be found working on something for a friend, neighbor, or loved one. Upon his passing, Suzanne visited the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation to explore options to remember Campbell by giving back to the community.
