Marian P. Boedecker, 90, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday (October 12, 2024) in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
She was born October 31, 1933 in Kane, PA, the daughter of the late Jack and Margaret Copenhaver Eck.
Prior to retirement Marian was employed by the former Crawford’s Furniture. Marian will be remembered as a loving mother and good friend to everybody. She was not only a single Mother to her children but also a father figure for her children. Marian always put others first. She was the oldest of 10 children and helped raise her siblings. Her brothers and sisters thought the world of her because of the love she had for them. She enjoyed her family, playing the organ, guitar and singing. Marian also enjoyed working on ceramics and painting them, watching Dr. Phil and her Western shows. In earlier years she enjoyed C. B. Radio and her call sign was “Spit Fire.”…
