Narcotics Investigation in Forestville Leads to Two Arrests

A five-month probe into narcotics activity in Forestville ended with the arrest of two men last Friday. Narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department and Jamestown Police Department executed a search warrant at 10925 Dennison Road shortly before 8:15 AM and located 33-year-old Joshua Vanbuskirk of Forestville and 25-year-old Franklin Silvagnia of Silver Creek. As a result of the search, investigators seized 14.8 grams of crack cocaine, 12.79 grams of fentanyl, scales and packaging material for the sale and distribution of narcotics, and $1,055 in cash. Both Vanbuskirk and Silvagnia were charged with four counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Vanbuskirk and Silvagnia were both transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
