A report of an altercation late Saturday night in the Town of Hanover led to the arrest of a Silver Creek woman on felony charges. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies and State Police from the SP Fredonia barracks responded to an address on Angell Road at about 11:30 PM and learned that an intoxicated female was on scene and trying to drive a vehicle. Deputies saw the vehicle traveling on Angell Road and pulled it over. Following a subsequent investigation, 34-year-old Samantha Coy was charged with felony DWI and 1st-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
