ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A woman has died from her injuries after a shooting Wednesday night on Rockton Avenue.
Rockford Police shared in a post on X just after 10 p.m. that the 26-year-old succumbed to her wounds from the attack, which happened around 7:30 p.m. earlier that night. RPD closed the area of Rockton Avenue between Vernon and Yonge during the initial investigation.
Investigators have not revealed the victim’s identity. Police have not yet shared any details about a suspect or any arrests…
