A south Alabama cold storage provider has announced a $5.2 million expansion slated to create about 50 jobs.

Dothan Warehouse announced today it will add 120,000 square feet of temperature-controlled storage space to the Houston County facility.

The expansion will provide 40,000 square feet of space to store products needing temperature levels at 35 degrees, and 80,0000 square feet at 63 degrees. In all, the project will give the company space for 10,000 pallets and allow it to focus on areas such as food, medical, health and beauty products, and foods with medicinal benefits…
