Good Sunday evening! It was another hot one out there today with highs in the low and mid 90s with a mix of sun and clouds. For this evening we will continue to cool down into the 70s and should be in the upper 60s to around 70 by the time Monday morning rolls around. Some isolated showers and storms will be possible tomorrow afternoon and evening with highs back in the low and mid 90s. We will be dry by late evening tomorrow with lows back around 70.

During the middle of the week, all eyes will be on the tropics as a possible hurricane impact is on the table for the Northern Gulf Coast. Before then, we will have a cold front sneak in on Tuesday which will stall and allow for higher rain chances on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will be the days to watch for any gusty winds, heavy rain, and possible flooding for our area. The degree of impacts will be determined by where the actual system tracks. If it goes further east then we will see less impacts from the rain and gusty winds. Keep checking back for the latest on that!

As for the Alabama-Georgia game forecast, currently it looks mainly dry with only an isolated shower or storm possible. Some adjustments to that forecast will be possible later in the week…
