Significant cool down on the way

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – A stronger cold front compared to last week is moving through Alabama and Georgia as we speak. Monday will be the warmest day of the workweek before a significant cool down moves in.

A few clouds possible Monday morning. Otherwise, mostly sunny and breezy throughout the day. Highs will range from the mid to upper 70s in places like Auburn, LaGrange and West Point to the low 80s in Columbus and Phenix City with maybe even a few mid 80s near Eufaula and Cuthbert.

Clear and cooler tonight with lows early Tuesday near 50 degrees in Columbus with lots of 40s starting to show up in other parts of the area, especially north and west of town.
