An updated flood watch was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 1:32 a.m. valid from 1 p.m. until Friday 7 a.m. for Cherokee, Cleburne, Clay, Randolph, Tallapoosa, Chambers, Macon, Bullock, Lee, Russell, Pike and Barbour counties.
